| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving 70 mph on normal road conditions, the vehicle stalled. the vehicle would not restart, however the electrical system worked properly. the vehicle was towed to a dealer who determined the fuse of the fuel pump had gone out. the fuse was replaced. a few weeks later while driving 70 mph, the vehicle stalled again. this time the vehicle was towed to a different dealer who determined the fuel pump wiring shorted and the vehicle needed a new fuel pump. there was a recall #01v159000 regarding the fuel pump. the vehicle was not included in the recall due to the vin. when the manufacturer was contacted, a complaint was taken which resulted in a partial reimbursement for the repairs. |
