| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while backing the vehicle out of a parking space, a humming noise was heard. while driving the vehicle 50 mph, the noise continued. the contact determined the humming noise was the brake module pump running and disconnected the pump until the vehicle could be taken to the dealership. after the engine was turned off, the humming noise continued. the dealership confirmed the humming noise was coming from the brake control module and there was either a faulty electronic computer relay in the brake module or in the valve body of the brake module. updated 10/18/2006 - the consumer is concerned that the brakes may fail. *nm |
