Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have owned a 2005 triumph speed triple motorcycle for several months now. the front brakes have a dangerous problem which clearly is "a problem." over fairly short period of time the brakes become progressively mushy. this is not normal by any means in this time period. the brakes do not consistently stop at the same point when pulling in the lever and continue to get worse until a temp fix is done and the process starts over. currently triumph is declining to even do the temp fix for me while many others have had it done! triumph calls this "progressive feel." this is not a feature. it is a problem. i have experienced the inconsistency in near crashes when i had to pull the lever farther than i expected to brake, only to stop within a foot of a vehicle who turned in front of me. it is dangerous and scary. if someone has not died yet because of it, they will. people are replacing these brakes themselves and solving the issue. these bikes are under warranty and triumph should take responsibility for what is indeed a problem. *nm |
