Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2005 nissan titan. recently, the brakes failed on the vehicle and i was unable to stop. i had the vehicle towed to the local nissan dealership. i was called two days later and was told that there is no problem with the brakes and that there was nothing more they could do for me because they cannot recreate the problem and the vehicle computer did not record any fault codes. i've asked them to tow the vehicle to another dealership for a second opinion and they refuse to do it. i've been told that its my responsibility and that if the brakes fail again, to bring it back into the dealership. i've called nissan directly and they are not offering any help, they stand behind what the dealership has told me. in my opinion, nobody should get behind the wheel of this vehicle. it now seems like i have no choice but to drive the vehicle until it happens again. *jb |
