| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 1999 chevrolet silverado pick up truck that the brake lines have corroded and failed rendering the brakes useless. fortunately, this happened in my driveway and not on the highway. i have had to have all these lines replaced. this truck is only 7 years old and my service garage has stated to me that they replace brake lines on late model chevrolet trucks at least once a month. i have written chevrolet about this problem and i did not received a response. i believe there is a serious problem with the brake line material or manufacture of these items. *nm |
