Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Twice in the last two weeks my 2004 nissan murano has had a complete computer failure, resulting in loss of both steering and brakes. the computer failure only occurs when turning the car on. turning the car off and on again appears to "reset" the computer. i have taken the car to the nissan dealership and have been told that because the problem did not occur in their presence, there was nothing they could do about it therefore there was no repair or replacement of any parts. because there is no specific "event" which leads to this problem, i am left to drive a car with a serious malfunction which may in turn cause an accident resulting in bodily injury to myself or others. *nm |
