| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: First engine failed at 84367 miles on 03/18/03 and was covered by extended warranty. rebuilt long block was installed. second engine has now failed in september of 2006 with 154004 miles on the car. less than 70,000 miles on the second engine. timing chain has failed and is sticking through the valve cover. all of a sudden started rattling and then just died. it seems as if these engines are only good for 70-80k and they are done. *nm |
