| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission and intermittently will not go into 3rd. gear. pulling out in traffic becomes quite an adventure and when the problem occurs, i cannot do anything but try to go back into second or into fourth. snow conditions makes this very unsafe to try to control vehicle. i use the car for work as a courier. battling this problem since it was new on 10/18/05. trans was repaired once. trans acted the same way within a few thousand miles. i contacted chrysler and got a case going with customer assistance which was useless. they told me to take the car back to the dealer who did verify the problem, but said there isn't a fix for it! *jb |
