| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic shop for brake service, it was determined the rear parking brake pads were worn out. the mechanic also found a nhtsa recall #05v161000 regarding the parking brake via website similar to the problems the vehicle had. the manufacturer was contacted and expressed that the recall was for vehicles with manual transmissions. the contact's vehicle had an automatic transmission, but had the same problems stated in the recall. updated 10/30/06. *jb |
