Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My car suddenly accelerated upon exiting a car wash as i changed from neutral to drive. the design of the exit lane from the car wash driveway and access to the four lane street where the car wash is located does not allow for any speed as there are two sharp turns . my car sped across the driveway, into a culvert and toward the heavy traffic. i applied the brakes immediately and steered the car away from the street, crossing several business parking lots and landscaped areas. my 2005 honda accord received several thousands dollars in damage. honda denied it was warranty and did not show me the computer diagnostic evaluation. in fact, this information seemed to be closely guarded by the service department at honda orr in hot springs, ar. i was told to contact my insurance company for repairs. this car experienced what i would explain as an open throttle which may be a new problem for computerized cars. i have taken several photos of my car and the scene, which shows several feet of skid marks. *nm |
