| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated that the latch belt assembly of the rear facing infant seat failed, and the buckle released by itself. when the buckle released so did the shoulder harness which caused the child fall to the ground. the child incurred severe injuries. the incident occurred when the infant seat was being removed from the vehicle. the vehicle was parked and the infant seat was located on the rear left side of the vehicle. there were no warnings signals prior to the incident. a police report was taken. the manufacturer has not been contacted. dorel juvenile group, model 22391, built on 02/10/2006.*ak |
