Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while trying to start the vehicle, it would not start. there were lights illuminated on the dash board which indicated the battery was working. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who determined that a security feature caused the vehicle to stall. the mechanic recommended that if this occurred again the key should be turned to the on mode without completely starting the vehicle. the key needed to sit in that position for ten minutes then turn the vehicle off for 5 minutes. after this process, the vehicle should start normally. if the vehicle does not start repeat the previous step two times. the manufacturer was contacted and a complaint was taken. *nm |
