Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The engine has periods where it will accelerate on its own. the engine will run rough while at the same time the rpms will increase dramatically. the vehicle will lurch forward with only control of the brake preventing an accident. the vehicle has been taken to the dealership for the 6th time. this time was only two days after the vehicle was returned as "repaired". the vehicle was towed to the shop. dealer has replaced several components to include electronics and the throttle body. i was told that the last repair involved actual rewiring of accelerator components based on recommendations from the manufacturer. the problem is a serious safety concern. *nm
