| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Upon driving down the road, with no aaparent preliminary warnings, a screw fell from under my dash onto my feet. i dismissed it as a dash cover screw and kept driving. upon reaching my home and trying to put my gearshift into "park", i realize this screw has something to do with the gear shift and linkage. the shifter is now loose and will not go into "park". if i hold it towards the "p" i am able to get my keys out of the ignition. i now have to use my emergency brake and i have to start the car in "neutral". not a serious issue unless it progresses and the gearshift falls off. i will have it fixed by the dealer tomorrow - just thought you should know about the problem. *nm |
