| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 1999 dodge intrepid that blew a rod at 72,000 miles with no warning. we replaced the engine for about $3,000 and two weeks ago at 102,000 miles i started to hear a rapping sound that was probably another rod, but before the engine could blow another rod something in the timing snapped, so now i am left with a lawn ornament that i can't afford to fix and i am still paying for. not to mention the various other items we have had to replace like the a/c condenser for $600.00 and the speed sensors, that was another $300.00. this car is the biggest lemon i have ever bought. *nm |
