Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: A few weeks ago i was driving and my transmission started to shift erratically through 1st,2nd,and 3rd without a change in speed. later that same day the transmission would not shift into the following gear resulting in the rpm's to increase follow by it jamming it into gear. the car must no be replaced with a used or new transmission and i was quoted $3000+ to get this done. after alot of reading around and investigating this problem i have learned that this is very common and the 00-01 accords have a recall for the exact same transmission. my car has 155k miles on it but i have all the service records and car has been very well maintained. i just think it is outrageous that there is no way for honda to split the cost at the least. *nm |
