Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2001 infiniti qx4 with the bose 6 disk cd changer. the cd changer stopped working around 78,000 miles. it would read error2. i have sent numerous emails to nissan with no reply. clarion made this cd player for nissan, but got so overwhelmed with repairs that they stopped taking repairs from customers. now they force you to go through your dealership to get the unit repaired which costs even more money. once the unit reads err2 you cannot retrieve any of your cds and of course the unit will not play the cds either. this web forum http://forum.ecoustics.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.pl?4/137782 will show you the 100's if not 1000's of people who have been affected. clarion is having a hard time stocking this part, but they nor nissan are offering to fix the unit or admit poor production. i had to use an outside vendor and it still cost me $300. *nm |
