| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving various speeds on the highway, the manual transmission slipped gear and down shifted which caused the motorcycle to operate at a reduced speed without warning. the dealer and manufacturer were alerted and agreed the vehicle was included in nhtsa recall, # 06v298000, concerning manual transmission. however, both refuse to repair the vehicle without charge. the manufacturer offered to cover half the cost of the recall repair as part of a customer satisfaction program. |
