| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while applying brake pressure at 30 mph on a wet road, there was an increased stopping distance and a loss of vehicle control without warning. the vehicle left the roadway and descended down an embankment. no injuries were sustained, but the vehicle sustained minor damage. the police were alerted, and a report was taken. the vehicle was towed to a dealer who was unable to duplicate the problem. additionally, there was a nhtsa recall; #06v149000 performed on the vehicle concerning the brakes however, the recall did not remedy the problem. the decreased braking force and increased stopping distance continued to persist. the manufacturer was alerted. *ak |
