Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the headlights were too high, and focused too high and too far to the left. while stopped at a stop sign, a police officer pulled the contact over, and informed the contact that it was illegal to drive with the high beams on while facing traffic. the contact informed the officer that the lights were the low beams, and proceeded to demonstrate the brightness of the high beams. the officer then instructed the contact to have a dealership adjust the headlights. the vehicle was taken to a service dealer, who informed the contact that the headlights were not adjustable. the manufacturer was contacted, who was also unable to provide any assistance. updated 12/1/2006 - the consumer took the vehicle to the dealer who insisted that the headlights on the commander were not adjustable. the consumer took the vehicle to an independent repair facility who was able to adjust the lights. *nm
