| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I began to smell gas on or about october 16, 2006. i replaced the gas cap, as i thought it may just be worn. this unfortunately did not solve the problem. the smell became extremely strong-i could smell it inside the car and got a severe headache. i took the car to a shop. i was told the gas tank was plastic, and was cracked! i bought this car in november of 2005 as a "certified used vehicle". i feel it is dangerous to have a vehicle that the gas tank does not last a few years. *nm |
