| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was driving along interstate 295 just passing into massachusetts on october 20th 2006 when i heard my engine making horrid sounds, all of a sudden i had no control and instead of panicking like a normal driver and crashing horribly(which would have happened i assure you) i popped the car into neutral, turned off all power and coasted into the breakdown lane(turning with no power is no fun at all). as it turns out my engine had blown up while i was driving which could have killed me and had my 2 week old daughter and fiance been in the car they as well. my mechanic told me that i should not have been able to do what i did but i was lucky and there were very few drivers on the road. i have worked at oil change garages and i do regular maintenance on my car. the fault is with the engine. *nm |
