Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Driving my 1995 ford mustang at approx 25 miles per hour when the seat back support just gave in causing me to grip the steering wheel in order to physically stay upright in the vehicle. i'm fortunate i wasn't going faster or this occurring on the freeway. i could have killed myself or others due to the material failure. dealership examined vehicle and found the left front recline mount bolt broken. dealership also ordered and replaced the left front seat recliner assy. reported incident to ford motor company. i want an agency to be alerted of a potential hazard and investigate. hopefully lives don't have to be sacrificed in order to get the ball rolling. *nm |
