| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving 15 mph through an intersection, the engine stalled without warning, and would not restart. the vehicle was towed to a dealer who determined the cylinder head needed to be replaced. after the replacement, upon attempting to start the engine, it would not start. the contact charged the battery, and drove the vehicle to the dealer who determined there was a loose battery cable. afterwards, there was a rubbing noise coming from underneath the vehicle followed by an electrical odor. the vehicle was taken to the dealer to await further inspection. the manufacturer was alerted. the second time the incident happened, the consumer was told a bag had attached itself to the motor, but offered no reason as to why the vehicle was shutting off. every time the vehicle shuts off, there is an electrical smell. updated 12/1/06. *jb |
