Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The tire pressure monitor system, or tpms, on the 2007 nissan versa that i, and many, many others own, keeps failing. the tpms light on the dash will blink and then stay steady on, which nissan, in the manual, says is a fault has occurred in the tpms monitor system and you have to take to the dealer for repair. nissan dealers have no fix and it is a cause of great concern. i have already had this problem 'fixed' once at 1100 miles and then problem recurred at around 2000 miles. for a better understanding of how wide spread this issue is, please see http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/203231 and http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/197348 i've contacted nissan and was told that this is a dealer problem. the dealer doesn't know how to fix it and is waiting on nissan. my concern is that my tpms light stays on and it is not doing me any good. i have no way to tell if a tire is going flat while moving because the system is completely useless in the car. *nm |
