| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Our 1999 chevy surburban's abs system started acting up, causing the vehicle to continue moving when the brakes were applied. our local mechanic informed us that this should be covered under a safety recall. nhtsa campaign # 05v379000. when we contacted our local dealer we were informed our vin number was not included in the recall. clearly, we are experiencing the problems described in your safety recall (nhtsa action # pe05020). i do not know why our vin # is not included and therein is my complaint. the problem started in the spring of 2006 but has continued to get worse. *nm |
