Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dodge intrepid se 2.7 engine. engine slugged after 62k with reccomended regular oil changes, the car did not fail on the highway, thankfully, but as i've investigated, there are a lot of web sites looking to encourage owners to report this failure--as it could have easily been on the highway. nothing is being done to the car. the dealership said "yeah, we have a lot of problems with those engines--we've tried to fix it before and it never works. . . and you're out of warranty. you should scrap it." *nm
