| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This complaint is in reference to my 2005 jeep liberty (vin#1j4gl48k6 5wxxxxxx ). my wife, with our newborn baby on-board, was driving this vehicle on a dry, asphalt surface when she experienced a period of steering loss, causing her to drive off of the roadway. i investigated this issue and was surprised to find that there had been a recall on lower ball joints for this vehicle. the date of this recall was september 6, 2006. i have never received a notice of this from either the manufacturer (chrysler jeep) or my dealer. this is negligence and could have resulted in a crash. *nm |
