Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My brand new hyundai tiburon's clutch failed. i felt it slipping for a few days, i did not know it was slipping because i have never felt a clutch slp until this new car, and it went out. i pulled over and got it towed. i was told that the clutch was "wasted" and it would cost $1400.00 to replace. this clutch was less than 18 months old and i have driven manual for years prior to this car. i was told it was my driving ability and that there was no leeway. i saw that there is a class action suit for this type of vehicle and the same story i have is posted all over the internet. this has to be addressed because people are getting their money stolen. i told them i was going to another garage who charge $900.00. when they heard that they lowered their price to $900. if i had not stated another garage they would have hustled me and i'm sure they have hustled others. they have to be stopped. *jb |
