| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2002 honda civic ex sedan. around 70,000 miles my srs light turned on. i have taken it to the dealership and they say i have to replace the main unit at a cost of over $500 and it will not be covered under any warranty. i've read about many people having this same problem with the repair not always fixing the problem. honda is apparently giving excuses such as cell phone or other electrical interference. this is not a "wear" part and is part of the safety system like a seat belt so i expect that it should be covered for life like seat belts are. please help!! *nm |
