Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Srs light has been on for weeks, found it means faulty airbag. found honda issued "technical bulletin 02034 (update 06-009) for a faulty control unit that caused the srs to come on. the warranty is for 10 years or 150,000 miles." called stevens creek honda dealership (san jose), and service advisor quoted $126 just for checking if my case applies to it. if it is, he said he will call honda for action. why does not honda just recall this ? do i have to pay $126 just to see if it is warranty item ? i know from website (http://www.carcomplaints.com) that many guys are reporting same problem. thanks. *nm |
