Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: While buckled in his car seat my one year old son put his thumb in a hole designed in the car seat to hold a drink holder. as a result, his thumb was stuck and my wife and i had to grease his thumb to remove it from the seat. his hand was extremely swollen resulting in severe bruising and discomfort. i contacted the manufacturer of the car seat who initially told me to simply put a piece of tape on the seat. they stated that this is a common complaint. after talking with a supervisor three days later i was told that if i returned a signed document that they would be sending to me, mailed them certain pieces of the car seat (at my expense) and purchased another seat made by this manufacturer, they would send me a reimbursement check. at this time, i have still not received anything in the mail nor have i been able to replace the car seat. we are using a spare. *nm
