Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Last wed., nov. 8th., 2006 my lincoln towncar cartier died. when the tow truck came, he popped open the hood and noticed that a fuse had popped up. he pushed it down and the car strted. that same afternoon, it happened again, and i was able to fix it the same way. i had the car checked for electrical defects, as well as fuse problems and there were none. lithia in reno said that the terminals were loose under the fuse box, requiring a new one total cost: $1900.00 i am very distressed about this. this is a luxury car and it shouldn't be happening. i am afraid it will happen again. i feel that it is a manufacturer's defect and they should pay the expense. i have already spent over $100. of my own money. *nm |
