| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Deer ran out in front of me and i applied my brakes. brakes released on my vehicle causing me to hit the deer. i had asked about this problem before to the manufacturer when i noticed it done this. they said there was no recall and that there was no problem with the brakes. i took there word on this because i had just got the truck a few months before this and it very seldom done it so i figured it was just like anti release brakes to avoid skidding or something. this accident would have been avoided if the brakes had not malfunctioned. i have filed a claim with my insurance company which is geico. to my opinion looking back there were several failures but this is the biggest. it was like i had no brakes at all. *jb |
