| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I bought a 2002 trailblazer lzt on 8/5/06 from carmax. vehicle had been doing fine until 11/14/06. i was pulling out on the road making a left hand turn and it just slipped into neutral on it's own and left me stranded in the middle of the road with a fed ex truck barreling towards me. i shifted the car into neutral and switched it over to the 4wd and it went into gear. i had the car towed to the carmax where i purchased it from and they found a service bulletin on this vehicle for this same problem although when taken to a transmission shop they can find no evident problems with the car. i have looked up this vehicle on my car stats.com and was horrified to find hundreds of complaints on this vehicle. gm needs to do something about this problem before people get seriously hurt or killed! i am absolutely terrified to take my (2) children with me anywhere until this problem is fixed. *nm |
