Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: A service light in the brand new 2007 gmc yukon denali xl came on in the vehicle. after the service team evaluated the vehicle, we were told that the control module in the vehicle would need to be replaced. a couple of days later, we received a call informing that the entire transmission in the brand new vehicle needed replacement and this concerns us for many reasons. this is a brand new vehicle with less than 4000 miles and we need to have our transmission replaced! we noticed before the light came on in the vehicle that the truck would sometimes slip while driving and we thought that it was breaking in, now we realize that it was much more serious and that this problem could have turned into something much larger. our transmission could have locked while we were driving or worse while driving injuring us or others on the road. the transmission has been replaced, but has the source of the original problem been solved??? *nm |
