| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated a nhtsa recall letter # 06v397000 for the power train: manual transmission was received on 10/26/2006. the contact called a service dealer to schedule the repair. the dealer took the contacts name and number and informed the contact the motorcycle was the first bike waiting for the replacement parts to arrive. when the contact followed up with the service dealer, the contact was informed there were 20 customers that took priority ahead of the contact. when the contact called the sales dealer where the bike was purchased, the contact was informed there were 4 bikes waiting for the recall parts and the dealer was not accepting any more until the replacement parts were available. the manufacturer was not alerted. |
