| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated a nhtsa recall letter was received # 06v417000 regarding the air bags: frontal. the manufacturer's hotline was contacted who recommended that all documents relating to the vehicle be faxed to the manufacturer. the contact received confirmation that the paperwork was received and was directed to take the vehicle to the dealer for a vehicle exchange. when the vehicle was taken to the dealer they were unaware of how to handle the recall of the entire vehicle. the dealer and the manufacturer have been in conference regarding how to handle this recall for a while and there was an expiration on how the vehicle can be held. |
