Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: ***unsafe condition with 2005 jeep liberty limited crd transmission***** due to failure of transmission to properly lock-up at overdrive at 50-55 mph, the vehicle shudders, and has on several occasions caused the vehicle to stall. this is a very serious condition that is not being addressed by the manufacturer. there are only 11,000 diesel jeep liberties in production, and i think a recall is necessary immediately to prevent serious injury as the 2005 and 2006 models begin to experience an increase in failures. *nm
