| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated a nhtsa recall letter #06v417000 regarding the gm repurchase of vehicles due to the frontal airbags was received. the contact expressed concern that the manufacturer was not honoring all of the terms listed under the recall. the letter stated gm would repurchase the vehicle at full price, not exceeding the fair market value at the time purchased, including taxes. the contact expressed the manufacturer should be paying for the full loan, but they are only willing to pay for $16,500 of the $19,100 remaining on the loan. the contact understood the recall indicated gm would pay the full amount. updated 12/28/06. *jb |
