Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving 5 mph, there was a whining noise coming from the front of the vehicle. shortly thereafter, the heat gauge spiked to 300. the vehicle was stopped, and the engine compartment was inspected. the fluid in the radiator was audibly boiling, and the cooling fan had ceased to function. the vehicle was then driven back to the residence. the vehicle was not seen by a dealer. there was a nhtsa recall# 06v199000, which pertains to the cooling fan. the vehicle was not included in the vehicle due to the vin.
