Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased new a 2006 chev. silverado 2500 tk (6 liter eng.), at 1900 miles the transmission felt like it slipped. immediately after, under light acceleration, you get a high pitched noise coming from the transmission. took vehicle to local dealership and was informed that the problem was in the planetary gears of the transmission and gm informed them that repairs should not be performed. meanwhile i still have the noise and am seriously concerned about the dependability of the vehicle. *nm
