Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The a/c heat blend doors on my 1999 jeep grand cherokee ltd. with only 61,000 miles have failed and the system only blows cold air. this is very dangerous in winter driving conditions and as i read online it happened to almost 100% of these vehicles after they pass 50k miles. my father has a 2001 and has had the exact same issue. the repair is $1,800 and even the dealership told me it happens to all models 1999 through 2002 or 3. this should be a recall item not a chance for jeep to make money off of a factory defect. *nm |
