| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We have a 2004 chrysler pacifica manufactured on 10/31/03. in november 2006 @ 49k miles, we began to encounter problems with the fuel level indicator. even though the tank was full it will drop to empty and indicate low fuel. it then it will bounce back to half full or full. then drop again to low fuel. it may do this 10 times during a short cross town trip. we took in back to dealer and was told it was a bad fuel control module and that chrysler had just issued a recall (f44) for this very reason, but that my vin number was not included in the recall. i called chrysler to see why it was not covered, but they said since my vin number was not included that my repair would not be covered under the recall. i would like to make a complaint that the chrysler recall f44 did not include all the effected cars, since my vehicle is experiencing the same failure as those cars identified in the recall. *nm |
