| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Front brake rotors replaced at 4000 miles due to steering wheel shimmy when brake is applied. problem resurfaced at 11000miles. brought to dealer for the same complaint at 15000 miles. they found rotors runout for both the front and rear to be excessive. resurfaced four rotors and changed brake pads. dealer did not cover under warranty citing that it was a wear item. it appears as though the parts are not up to specification especially with the failure at 4000 miles. nissan needs to address that problem. two occurances within 10000 miles is not the norm. the rotor thickness for the subsequent model is thicker than one used on the 04 model. *nm |
