Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have owned a 2000 buick regal since 2001. a few months ago, the driver's side electric window starting operating erratically - sometimes it would not work at all; other times it would. my mechanic looked at it but it worked fine for him. last week, it suddenly stopped working and made a grinding noise, causing difficulty in every day usage, such as pulling up to mailbox to get mail. my mechanic stated the part alone will cost over $300 dollars. i have researched the problem on the internet and found this is a routine problem in buicks due to poor design - a plastic piece (involving regulator?) that fails too easily. please ask buick / gm to issue a recall due to the enormous frequency of this problem. thank you. *jb |
