| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while traveling 55 mph on normal road conditions, the fuel gauge suddenly dropped down to the empty indicator. this occurred on 2 occasions and the needle usually dropped to empty a few days after filling the tank with fuel. the service dealer was contacted, and an appointment was scheduled for 12/19/06. the problem recurred on 12/10/06. the contact planned to notify the manufacturer after filing a complaint with the nhtsa. the contact encountered several complaints about this problem, and expressed concern that this was a safety issue that should be recalled. *ak |
