Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving various speeds, a grinding noise was heard. the vehicle was driven to an independent repair shop, who determined the parking brake was metal to metal. the rotors were shaved and the pads were replaced. the dealer was not contacted. updated 1/19/2007 - the emergency brake pads were completely worn. the pads on the regular brakes still had over 50% use left. the consumer claimed that he only used the emergency brake twice. the brakes are not self adjusting but have to be adjusted manually. *nm |
