Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Backing out of our garage (straight without turning) at home; the steering wheel suddenly didn't respond to any action from driver (my wife) after a "snapping sound" was heard. no prior accident or known damage to trigger this. if this would have happened while driving on a highway or other busy artery, the outcome might have been with personal and/or material consequences. hopefully this wasn't the case. this is a chrysler concord xi 2000 with 38,000 miles, and overall in pristine conditions. *jb
