Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl *- the contact received a recall letter (f23) for lower ball joints. the jeep liberty, in question, crashed and the contact believed the recalled part was the reason. while driving approximately 50-55 mph the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. the road conditions were dry but cold. the driver was injured due to airbag deployment. the contact would like it noted the previous owner kept vehicle in garage. he believes that the part became frozen, as this is one of the possibilities described in recall letter. updated 03/19/07. *jb
